GBA Architects, San Antonio
The company traces its history back to 1919 when, after returning from World War I, its founders Raymond Phelps, Sr. and Dahl Dewees began the firm of Phelps & Dewees Architects.
GBA’s impact on San Antonio and South Texas is profound, enduring and has been relevant to generations of South Texans. From the highly technical requirements of the Children’s Cancer Research Institute in San Antonio to the state-of-the-art McCoy Business Building at Texas State University in San Marcos, they have designed and produced enduring, world class facilities for the past 103 years.
